Abstract
The Christensen family papers, 1945-1986, consist of letters written by John Francis (J.F.) Christensen to his wife, Alcyone Christensen, and mother-in-law, Nellie Condon, from 1945 to 1947. The collection includes certified copies of Alcyone's and J.F.'s birth certificates and baptismal records as well as a certified letter confirming their 1926 marriage. Abstract
The Father John G. Hacker collection, 1920-1950, contains letters and biographical information about Father Hacker, incoming letters to Father Hacker from friends and Maryland government officials, reviews of his "Catholic Hymnal" book, and pages of music he composed or used for religious services. Father John G. Hacker, S.J. was born August 21, 1877 in Buffalo, New York. He was a celebrated German professor and music prefect at Loyola College until his death on September 11, 1946.

The Loyola University Maryland autograph collection, 1853-1988, consists of letters written to Loyola College administrators and Dr. Nicholas Varga, Loyola Archivist, from notable people of the time. Some are historical documents pulled from Loyola's archival records, such as an 1853 letter from Joseph Henry to Father Ward at the Smithsonian Institution.
